Ingredients Of Mehndi

Henna is made from the leaves of the shrub for which it is named after. The red dye is extracted from the leaves and branches of the henna shrub. The shrub is then ground into a powder, and mixed with hot water to from a dark green paste. In order to make elaborate designs on the hands and feet, the paste is packed in a cone for easy decoration.
